Lake Natoma, CA - This weekend, the Hornets wrapped up the end of the Fall semester with the annual formal dinner. The rowers took to the dance floor dancing the Salsa, Waltz, and finished it all up with some line dancing. Who knew that they had any other clothes than spandex.
The following morning, both the men and women got together for an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" row. There were 3 boats mixed with both novice and varsity rowers from both teams. The boats raced multiple 500m pieces down the lake, in the proper holiday spirit.
The Hornets will resume training soon to prepare for the Golden State Indoor Championships, hosted at the Sacramento State Aquatic center. Be sure to come watch and support your favorite rower!
